Duchovny received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Princeton University and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Yale University. He’s had roles in the drama series Twin Peaks, the crime drama Aquarius and the comedy drama Californication, in which he directed episodes from the last two. Duchovny has even starred in an episode of Frasier. For Californication and Aquarius, Duchovny was an executive producer. Within the last few years, he has released two books, as well as a music album, Hell or Highwater.
