George Shelley is best known for featuring in boy band Union J, consisting of other members Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett and Jaymi Hensley, who appeared on The X Factor in 2012 and were mentored by Louis Walsh. George originally appeared as a solo artist on the show, but got put in to Union J. George went on to appear on TV show ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ George finished second place on the show.
A few months later, George announced his departure from Union J, giving the reason that he wanted to focus on his own solo venture. He has since gone on to be replaced by Casey Johnson. George released his debut EP featuring songs such as ‘Scars,’ ‘Prove Me Wrong’ and ‘360.’ He also served as a presenter on the Capital FM Breakfast Show, along with Lilah Parsons and Dave Berry.
