As you can see from her recent Instagram story, Nicholson likes to do gymnastic inspired workouts to stay fit. In this video on her Instagram, she and a friend are seen doing handstand push-ups. She captioned the post, "Sharing some of the gymnastic arts with one of Scotland's finest." Springfit.org states, "Flexibility is a big factor in gymnastics. In order to achieve the various positions needed to perform moves, suppleness is of vital importance. Increasing flexibility can also be an effective aid to the reduction of injury, preventing people from forcing a limb to an injurious range of motion. By learning movements and combining them in a routine, the gymnast can attain greater flexibility and greater control of the body."

Nicholson loves to do squats to stay fit. In this video, she is seen doing air squats. Nicholson captioned the post, "Such a good little session so thought I would share. 🌶️ Part A: EMOM 18 (Every minute on the minute. Complete the reps as fast as you can within the minute, whatever time you have left is your rest. Start the next exercise on the next minute)." Allina Health states that squats are a great workout. "The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong."

When it comes to working out, Nicholson is all about being consistent. She talked about the importance of consistency in the caption of this Instagram video. "Physical results from the gym are cool but what's cooler is the traits you adopt. Doing hard things is hard but doing nothing is harder. Doing hard things consistently is a flex."

Nicholson has an amazing upper body. Naturally, she does a lot of upper-body exercises. She shared her routine in this video she posted on Instagram. Nicholson captioned the post, "Express Upper Body Sweat 🤌🏽The Session:2 Rnds: 21-15-9. USKBS. HSPUs. KB plank Pull Throughs. *20m HSW after each round. Spice level – 🌶️🌶️Fuelled by as always @noccouk."

As you can see from her previous Instagram post, Nicholson loves to weight train to stay in shape. The Mayo Clinic says that using weights has a lot of benefits. "You don't have to be a bodybuilder or a professional athlete to reap the benefits of weight training. When done correctly, weight training can help you lose fat, increase your strength and muscle tone, and improve your bone density. If done incorrectly, however, weight training won't give you these benefits — and may even lead to injury."
