From his floral Gucci suits to his Keith Richards-inspired rocker looks, Harry Styles has mastered the art of personal style from his time in One Direction to his current solo career. With a penchant for unexpected looks that are equal parts rockstar and high fashion, one has to wonder where Styles gets his inspiration from. His muse, as it turns out, isn't Keith Richards or Alessandro Michele but in fact Shania Twain. Yes, Shania Twain.
The 23-year-old revealed his admiration for the country singer's style while speaking to Entertainment Tonight ahead of his performance at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. "I think both music and fashion, [my] main influence was probably Shania Twain. I think she's amazing," Styles revealed.

And while his answer may seem unexpected or random, at a second look, Twain's influence is actually pretty clear to see when it comes to some of Harry's most memorable outfits. Like Twain, Styles uses leopard print as a neutral and pulls off metallic prints just as well (yes, shiny pants specifically).

To be honest, Styles is way ahead of the rest of us—Shania's incredible '90s and early 2000s style doesn't get half the credit it deserves. Please refer to the iconic "That Don't Impress Me Much" video for a look at the greatest head-to-toe leopard look of all time:
And let's not forget her penchant for patent leather.

So it's no surprise that Twain's fashion sense does, in fact, impress Styles that much. Now all we need is a music and fashion collaboration between these two, please.
