Jeff Gitty Gitelman & Playground Media Sign Publishing Deal With BMG

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum-selling music creator Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman has inked a fresh publishing deal with BMG, further solidifying his dynamic relationship with the company. In addition to expanding his collaboration with BMG, Gitty will actively seek and nurture new talents under this new partnership.

Making waves across genres throughout 2023, Gitty achieved a milestone by becoming the first and only producer to simultaneously grace the Billboard Top 10 Producers chart, the Hot 100 Producers chart, the R&B Hip-Hop Producers chart, the R&B Producers chart, and the Country Producers charts in a single week.

Notably, his recent collaboration with Victoria Monet on the track “On My Mama” earned Gitty Grammy nominations in both the Record of the Year and Best R&B Song categories. Currently, he’s riding high on successes with artists like Jessie Murph, Jelly Roll, Mary J Blige, and Hozier. He is the co-executive producer for Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming album This Is Me…Now, tied to the documentary of the same title set to release this February.

Gitty’s initial signing to Playground Media introduces multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Kevin Theodore, recognized for his work on Mac Miller’s Grammy-nominated album Swimming. Gitty’s collaborative ventures extend to artists like Teddy Swims, Allen Stone, Muni Long, and more.

He also collaborated with Lisa Joy Nolan to compose the original theme song for Reminiscence, the Warner Bros feature film starring Hugh Jackman. In 2022 he co-wrote/co-produced “A Tale by Quincy” (The Weeknd), “Private Island” (Gunna), “911” and “Two Moods” (Teddy Swims) that were followed by releases with YK Osiris., four releases on Tank and The Bangas Grammy-nominated album Red Balloon, Kaytranada and Anderson Paak’s “Twin Flame” and “Jane” by Skip Marley with Ayra Starr.
