NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Coran Capshaw’s Red Light Management has opened a new Nashville office, according to Billboard.biz. The Charlottesville, Virginia-based company has a roster that includes Dave Matthews Band, Trey Anastasio, Robert Randolph, Los Lobos and many others.

Along with the new digs comes Greg Hill, along with his client list including Phil Vassar, Jamie O’Neal, Rodney Atkins and Christian act Shane & Shane.

Capshaw currently operates offices in Charlottesville and New York and is known for his touring and artist marketing successes. He also founded ATO Records with Dave Matthews, and marketing company Musictoday, which recently partnered with Live Nation.

“[Capshaw] has accomplished what everybody wants to accomplish and he’s kept the fire, and for me that’s what it’s all about,” Hill told Billboard.biz. “We started talking several months ago about his desire to get in Nashville, and the experience, assets and resources he could bring to a Nashville management firm. So we will continue to provide the same service to our clients in a lot of ways, we'll just have access to a lot more resources.”

Hill said he will be actively seeking new management clients in Nashville for Red Light, and not necessarily mainstream country acts. “It starts with the music and for me it’s about finding acts that you feel like you know what you can do with them,” Hill told the magazine. “You share a vision with the artists that you can grow them, whatever that format.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
