NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Rita Coolidge has inked a deal with publisher Harper Collins over an autobiography.

Collaborating with best-selling Laurel Canyon author, Michael Walker, Coolidge will trace her path from her childhood in small town Tennessee, through the Memphis music scene of the late ‘60’s and finally to Los Angeles where she found success as a singer/songwriter.

Focusing on her relationships with some of the leading stars of the era—including Graham Nash, Stephen Stills, Leon Russell, her friendship with Joe Cocker and her marriage to Kris Kristofferson.

Coolidge found her greatest success in the late 1970s with a string of four four consecutive top 25 hits, covering material by Jackie Wilson, Boz Scaggs and The Temptations.
