Sam Worthington is an English-Australian actor and writer. He was born in Godalming, Surrey, England, the son of Jeanne and Ronald W. Worthington, a power plant laborer. His family moved to Perth, Australia, when he was six months old; he was subsequently raised in Warnbro, a suburb of Rockingham, Perth. Sam is married to Australian model and television presenter Lara Bingle, with whom he has three children.
