Georgia officials are honoring native son Travis Tritt with his own stretch of highway. A three-mile section of Highway 92 will be renamed "Travis Tritt Highway" on June 12 in Hiram, Ga., outside Atlanta. Additionally, Paulding County signs will read "Home of Country Music Star Travis Tritt."

Tritt has helped raise money for several organizations and has donated proceeds from concerts to the local Red Cross chapters in Georgia after tornadoes hit.
